Why Is TennisRecord Not Updating?

1. Check the public source result

Confirm that the match is posted, attached to the correct players, and scored correctly at the original league or tournament source. A third party cannot reliably process a result that is unavailable, incomplete, or later corrected.

2. Allow for ingestion lag

Once public, the result still must be collected and processed by TennisRecord. That service controls its own pipeline and schedule; Tennis Rating Lab cannot see its queue or guarantee an exact refresh time. See the update-timing guide for more context.

3. Distinguish a missing match from a small change

If the match appears but the estimate looks unchanged, the modeled impact may be small or hidden by rounding. An expected win with an expected score does not necessarily produce a noticeable displayed movement.

4. Remember that services use their own rules

Third-party services decide which public results they can use, how they identify players, and how their estimates are refreshed. Those choices are separate from USTA's official rating process.
